ABOUT ZENGER FARMS
At Zenger Farm, we believe that communities thrive when people have a direct connection to their food and where it grows. We are a 24-acre urban farm and wetland located in outer Southeast Portland. Since 1999, Zenger Farm has been teaching people where good, healthy food comes from, how it’s grown, and the importance of eating it every day. Zenger Farm’s program models have regional and national impact, but we focus on serving families in the under supported neighborhoods that surround the farm. Our goal is to be a place where communities can come together across multitudes of differences and generations, find access to nourishing food, connect to helpful resources and participate in food education and learning in a collaborative environment.
