Winter sports season is upon us! Below is a list of clients who will be hosting special viewing parties and events for any Super Bowl and Winter Olympics coverage you may have planned in the coming weeks.
In addition to these events, Irving Street Kitchen and The Waiting Room will be serving special to-go items for partygoers to pre-order and have delivered or pick-up before kickoff begins!
From February 9th through February 25th, head to North 45’s award-winning, year-round patio for Winter Olympics viewing parties on their massive 80-inch screen! The patio is covered and heated and we’ll be serving the French Toddy with merlot, spiced cider, brandy, honey syrup and other warm, boozy beverages. Enjoy rotating Belgian beers on tap, choose from more than 150 whiskeys, and enjoy a dish or two of mussels and frites. Doors open at 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on Saturday & Sunday.
Enjoy pub favorites, including burgers, wings, sandwiches and 14-inch scratch-made pizza, while cheering on Team USA during the Winter Olympics at Northeast Portland’s The Station from Friday, February 9th through Sunday, February 25th! Already known for its popular game day viewing parties, The Station ramps up with drop-down screens and is considered a neighborhood favorite amongst locals, inviting fans of any team to revel in its convivial atmosphere.
Looking to have The Station’s delicious pizzas and pub grub delivered to your doorstep on game day? Signature pies including Sausage, Pesto Margherita and Chicken Garlic will be available as to-go orders alongside their Fried Chicken Wings, Garlic Twists and Taquitos and “Hand Held” sandwiches.
SUPER BOWL LII
Downtown Portland’s newest Mexican-inspired restaurant located in the Hi-Lo hotel, will be serving individual nacho plates all Super Bowl Sunday for $15 and will screen the game at their lobby bar, Lo-Bar.
The Independent Sports Bar & Grill, located in the historic Broadway Bright Lights District, will be hosting a “Football Fiesta” with a taco bar, Sauza Hornitos specials and an ice luge! Guests will have the chance to enter a raffle to win prizes during the game. Doors will open at 11am with kickoff starting at 3:30pm (PST).
Irving Street Kitchen
Chef Sarah Schafer will be adding her delicious House Made Sriracha Wings with Blue Cheese Dip ($12) to Irving Street Kitchen’s Caviar and ChowNow menus on game day so you won’t have to miss a second of the game! Delivery will be available starting at 5pm and orders can be made online or through the respective app.
Have a small group that wants to catch the big game in style? Book a private dining room at Jackrabbit, located in the stunning Duniway Hotel in Downtown Portland. Cheer on your team with gin-focused cocktails and enjoy a daily oyster selection, salads and burgers helmed by Chef Chris Diminno. Private dining is available during regular dining hours and can be booked online.
The family-friendly restaurant specializing in ingredient-driven Neapolitan style pizzas and creative frozen custards in central Vancouver, Washington will be open on Super Bowl Sunday from 11am-3pm and will be serving up Super Bowl specials – from pizzas to concretes. Go H.A.M and try one of two Super Bowl calzone specials, The Fullback made with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, smoked jalapeños, ricotta, mozzarella and tomato sauce and vegetarian-friendly The Wide Out made with olives, roasted mushrooms, roasted red peppers, smoked jalapeños, fresh basil, ricotta, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. Both dine-in and to-go options will be available on Super Bowl Sunday.
Chef BJ Smith’s Smokehouse Provisions in Vancouver, WA will have a special Super Bowl menu with $2 off house cocktails, draft beer and wine, and bites such as Spare Ribs, Buffalo Wings, Rotel Queso Dip, Smoked Chicken Nachos, Pulled Pork Poutine and Frito Pies (full menu attached!). Smokehouse Provisions will also be screening the game on three TV’s – one of them is 110″! Smith’s Smokehouse Tavern location will be serving all day happy hour in addition to screening the game.
The Station Public House
The family-friendly pub is turning game day into a party with their “Game Day Package.” Starting at $30 for two people, the package gets you a table reservation, a bucket of Rainiers, pizza and wings (full breakdown below) while cheering on your favorite team from one of five TVs and two projector screens. The Waiting Room
Northwest Portland’s The Waiting Room is making it easy for Super Bowl party hosts with their “Winner Winner” Chicken Dinner to-go meals! From January 31st through February 2nd, folks can pre-order their to-go meals online which serves 8-10 people and includes Deviled Eggs, Candied Ham, Buttermilk Dressing, Hushpuppies with Creole Tomato Glaze, Two Whole Fried Chickens, Hot Sauce, B&B Pickled Eggs and Grilled Lemon for $100. Additional sides for $25 each include Brabant Potatoes, Bacon Braised Collards, Jalapeno Mac & Cheese, and Loaded Twice Baked Potatoes. Snacks, which can also be purchased a la carte, can be purchased with your order and include Louisiana Crawfish Boil ($12 per pound), “Dry Fry” Chicken Wings ($10 per dozen with a 2 dozen minimum), Jamaican Jerk Marinated “Pork” Wings ($12 per dozen with a 2 dozen minimum), and Bacon Wrapped Poppers with cream cheese, green onion sausage, and Worcestershire ($14 per dozen). All pick-ups are arranged when ordering online with delivery also available.
