Été en France Wine Dinner – Tuesday August 1st 2017
6.30pm at Cerulean Wine / $65 per person
A Collaboration between Chef Owner Joris Barbaray of Bergerac and Tammy Miller of Cerulean Wine. A four course summer dinner with paired wines hosted at Cerulean Wine in the Pearl featuring French summer dishes and Bergerac’s popular house made duck confit.
Joris Barbaray has spent the last 15 years working in restaurants in France, Spain, London and now Portland. Bergerac, a family owned business, opened in October 2015 serving from scratch French food with a heavy emphasis on dishes from his home town of Bergerac in the South West of France. The cozy space in Woodstock, SE Portland, serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch with a heavy French wine menu.
Cerulean is derived from the Latin word for Heaven and is a family-owned winery based in Hood River, OR focused on making wine the way it was meant to be – pure, natural, and authentic. They personally hand trim and pick the grapes on their estate vineyard, Acadia Vineyards, which grows 23 acres of organic grapes on Underwood Mountain in the Columbia Gorge AVA. The Portland tasting room is located in the Pearl.
