RingSide Steakhouse

From the warm fireplace to the gracious wait staff, RingSide Steakhouse’s ambiance will transport you to a classic, romantic night. This old school steakhouse has a wine list of over 700 labels that will wow any date. Come in for the romance and stay for the new dessert menu featuring a Salted Caramel Cheesecake with sour apple compote, pecan praline and Granny Smith apples.

Jackrabbit

Eat Your Heart Out: Jackrabbit, one of Portland’s premier meat-centric dining experiences, will offer a dinner menu for order on Valentine’s Day only.

Starter:

  • Beets Treviso with Roasted Beets, Hazelnuts, Red Wine and a bib

  • 1/2 Dozen Oysters topped with Passion Fruit and Caviar Mignonette

  • Hearts of Palm Salad with Orange Cilantro and Fresno Chili

Shareable Dinner Options:

  • Local Duck Cassoulet with Leg Confit, Seared Breast, Duck Heart Sausage and Braised Beans

  • Chili Crab cooked with Bok Choy and Herbs

  • Prime Rib of Beef paired with Brussel Sprouts, Salsify and Beef Jus

Dessert:

  • Molten Chocolate Cake with Blood Orange Sauce

  • Passion Fruit Profiteroles topped with Vanilla Anglaise

Rally Pizza

Filled with Love for Valentine’s Day: Rally Pizza has created a menu of special dishes with a hidden treat inside!. The event is from 5 PM – 9 PM. Please make reservations.

  • Eggplant Involtini Gratin and Stuffed Handmade Pasta

  • Saffron Arancini filled with Mushroom Bolognese (vegan)

 

Cocktails:

  • Amarena Cherry Manhattan

Normandie

Normandie, Portland’s ode to coastal, French fare, with a female winemaker driven list, will have a menu available for Valentine’s Day only. Menu is available during restaurant hours, 4 PM – 12 AM. Tasting menus will be $70 per person and a la carte options will be available at the bar.

Starters:

  • Oysters topped with either Champagne Granita or Juniper Mignonette; $18/half a dozen, $36/dozen

  • Broiled Oysters served with Miso Maple Butter, Lardo, Rye Crumbs and Roe; $4 each

  • Little T. Baguette paired with R. Meunier Butter; $5

  • Crab Rangoon Croquette topped with Plum Szechuan Jam; $5 each

First tasting menu:

  • Cured Hokkaido Scallop

  • Hamachi Crudo

  • Kale Salad

  • Charred Octopus

Second tasting menu:

  • Togarashi Seared Ahi

  • Duck Confit

  • Parisienne Gnocchi

Dessert:

  • Chocolate Cake accompanied with Chevre Ice Cream, Blood Orange Granity, Meyer Lemonade Marmalade and Cocoa Nib Brittle

  • Poppy Seed Meringue

  • Buttermilk Semifreddo

 

Irving Street Kitchen

Self Love Saturday: Irving Street Kitchen has a glamorous bar and patio that packs a punch. It will take on a relaxed atmosphere for their first ever Self Love Saturday on February 15 from 10 AM – 1:30 PM. The dining room will transform into a meditation and yoga space. Anna Caporael (General Manager and Partner of ISK) will lead a guided meditation followed by 20 minute yoga flows that will be led by Dana Blaney of Trilogy Wellness. There will be free massages on site from Nick Paterka from Massage Hodgepodge as well as local vendors offering handcrafted meditation cushions and skincare.

Food:

  • Guests are encouraged to RSVP for brunch

  • Normal brunch menu will be offered as well as vegan-inspired bowls

Drinks

  • Health inspired tonics

  • Pours of Goodwolf Water Kefir

  • Steven Smith Teamakers’ new organic herbal infusion, turmeric tea – Golden Light

 

The Waiting Room

NW’s The Waiting Room is going Italian-American all weekend long this Valentine’s Day! The team at The Waiting Room will be offering a three-course menu with east coast Italian inspired dishes from February 13th to February 15. The Waiting Room is bringing back the romance with a playful and warm atmosphere, picture tables set with red and white checkered tablecloths, fresh flowers, and crooners from years past playing in the background. Guests are encouraged to make a reservation through Resy where they will have the option to purchase fresh flowers from Small Yard Flowers to be set at their table upon arrival. Along with complimentary garlic knots guests will begin their 3-course meal with the option to choose between zucchini fritti, radicchio salad, clams casino or stuffed long hots. For the second course, things get a little more traditional with options like chicken parm, veal scallopini and eggplant “manicotti.” Finally, there’s no better way to end a romantic night than with a little Italian water ice or mocha semifreddo.
