Tim Rippa from Petit Monde will pour wines from several important French winemaking regions, beyond Burgundy and Bordeaux. With biodynamic wines from Alsace, Loire Valley, Provence, and Languedoc-Rousillion.
Winemaker Tasting: Rocca di Montegrossi
Providore Fine Foods: Sunday, May 20th, 1–3p
Rocca di Montegrossi is located just outside Monti, in some of the best land of Italy’s Chianti Classico region. Their winemaker will pour the estate’s Toscana Rosato, Chianti Classico DOCG and the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Vigneto San Marcellino, a wine only made in the best vintages.
The Pastaworks Vino Club is a monthly exploration of the new wines we’re most excited to drink. From everyday table wines to unique single-barrel bottlings, you can always expect to discover new regions, new grape varietals and new favorites! We will open our six monthly Vino Club selections for tasting at Providore Fine Foods on Thursday, May 17th from 5-7pm and at City Market on Saturday, May 19th from 2:30-5 pm. As always, the tasting is FREE for Vino Club members (and a guest) and only $5 for non-members.
