Welcome New Vendors and Fill Your Pantry at Oregon City Farmers Market!
It’s going to be a great week to shop at the market!
Not only do we have talented new vendors joining us, we are excited to host one of Portland’s Fill Your Pantry events, our yearly stock up and bulk buy event.
While the deadline for orders closed on Monday evening, rest assured our farms and vendors will still have plenty onsite to purchase! Bring your extra large shopping bags this Saturday! Stock up on meat, fish, storage crops and so much more.
It’s natural to think a winter farmers market has less variety and vendors. We are happy to report it’s quite the opposite. Our winter market boasts a huge array of fresh produce from 9 farms, delicious prepared and pantry foods, meats, seafood, fresh cheeses, baked goods, cocktails, fresh flower bouquets, luxurious skin care, hot food and artisan goods such as candles, ceramics, jewelry and handcrafted wood kitchen wares.
Even better, all of our market offerings are grown, created and sourced locally!
Read on for our full update on this Saturday’s event and resources plus our new and attending vendor lineup and keep the market as your local shopping source for food and gift items this holiday season.
Find us at 2051 Kaen Rd (corner of Beavercreek and Kaen Roads) here in Oregon City.
See you Saturday from 10-2pm!
While you are at the market this weekend, schedule a little extra time. Stop by the OSU Extension Service, Fill Your Pantry, and Clackamas County Sustainability and Solid Waste booths located near the Information booth. Learn about the Clackamas County “Eat Smart, Waste Less” Program, and the OSU Food Hero, “Eat Winter Vegetables” Campaign, and Food Preservation/Safety Programs. Pick up some recipes printed in English/Spanish, food storage and food preservation/safety information, and/or download QR codes from your smart phone.”
This Saturday is the perfect time for SNAP recipients to use up those Double Up Food Bucks! Remember, they expire on Dec 31st. After that date they are no longer valid. Use them to purchase fresh produce and storage crops from all of our farms. Stock up and save!
For those picking up orders or shopping in bulk from our Fill Your Pantry vendors, they will be located throughout the market. Not sure where to find them? No problem. Start your market trip with a visit to the Information Booth and we will be happy to direct you.

Chicken and Mushroom

This week Kelsey will be selling them as frozen, packed to go for easy prep at home. Even better news, coming soon Kelsey will have ready to eat Gyoza at the market!
Tonze’s Brazilian Bakery create delicious Polka Dot Croutons, a popular soup, salad topping in Brazil. Tapping into traditional family recipes from his Brazilian heritage, Aroldo creates flavors using locally grown ingredients from Yamhill County, such as bacon and gorgonzola cheese. Try them as a snack on their own, add to chili or savory soups and salads.
Lavender Vodka anyone? How about Barrel Aged Bourbon Maple Syrup? Check out Double Circle Spirits, a farm to bottle premium wheat spirits family business. They will be at our market for this Saturday only so make sure you try some samples and take home holiday gifts. Don’t forget that maple syrup for a special holiday breakfast. Just don’t drink it all at once like Buddy the Elf.
Let’s bring some green to the holidays in the form of plants! Rusty Fish Farm is joining our market from their 1 acre homestead and micro farm in Albany. Shannon specializes in houseplants and cactuses she grows right on her farm and has beautiful varieties to choose from. Channel your inner plant person and check out her inventory. You will be inspired!
Coming on Dec 18th, Sebastiano’s Sicilian Deli and Bakery! Specializing in savory foccacia breads, traditional Sicilian sweets, muffulettas, fluffy brioche, pistachio tarts and cannoli, you will find plenty of regional favorites that pay homage to their Sicilian heritage.
