Washington Cider Week is coming, September 5 to 15th!

August 6, 2019

Apples Go Back to Cool
From a party with Primus’ drummer to a park-sized festival, the roster is packed for Washington Cider Week!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Washington Cider Week is coming. From September 5th to 15th, cidermakers, cider bars, tastings and events across Washington will be schooling us in cider across the state.

This maker-driven festival features events that are as diverse as Washington’s cidermakers themselves: From Herbstock in Bellingham – a music festival hosted by Primus’ Tim “Herb” Alexander – to cider sipping at a cat cafe in Seattle, from the city-park sized Cider Summit Seattle to intimate tasting room tours, cider lovers and the cider curious will find an event to match their mood at Washington Cider Week!

Or plan your own Washington Cider Week adventure! Whether you are sunning in the San Juan Islands or roaming east to Liberty Ciderworks in Spokane, Washington cider lovers can create their own syllabus with this new map.

Get the full Washington Cider Week Calendar at Washingtonciderweek.org!

Find the Washington Cider Week calendar of events in the Stranger on August 29th or go to WashingtonCiderweek.org for the latest and greatest events.

Washington Cider Week is presented by Whole Foods Market, the Great Little Box Company and Columbia Distributing and supported by Zeek’s Pizza.

About the Northwest Cider Association: Formed in 2010, the Northwest Cider Association brings cideries and cider lovers together to share knowledge, experience and live the Northwest cider culture.  We are a trade organization formed by cider producers throughout the Pacific Northwest to promote awareness of regional ciders. We sponsor classes and workshops, and create new cider-themed events.
