Vegas in April?

February 5, 2020

Those of you that know me know that, while in the kitchen, I prefer to work in silence. That’s not how most people work so, in an effort to make things more enjoyable, I started playing music during prep time. I asked one of my cooks, a young Korean woman named Sky, what she liked to listen to and she hesitantly said, Bruno Mars. So for the past few weeks, we’ve been listening to the “This Is Bruno Mars” playlist on Spotify. He’s definitely not someone I would typically listen to, but it’s not so bad and his songs are pretty catchy. The other day, my girlfriend, Mallory, stopped by to say hi and caught me singing along to one of the songs. Strictly for newsletter purposes, I checked to see when/if he’s touring and his next show is the weekend of March 6th in Las Vegas. I’m now committed to dinners on those dates, so not considering making the trip. He does, however, have a few Vegas shows in April…

The other day while we were cleaning crab, Sky asked me if I liked Justin Bieber. ..I turned my head and didn’t respond.

It’s been an exciting few weeks, as there have been a lot of changes to the menu. As the early Spring ingredients begin to pop up, the menu will become more spontaneous with the daily trips to the Farmer’s Markets.

During the week of March 5th-8th, we will only offer a vegan menu. As always, we’re happy to accommodate dietary preferences nightly, but like to dedicate at least one week each season to a fully plant-based menu.

Tickets for March are available through Tock.

We’ve had a very blessed start to the new year and are very grateful for your support.
