Vaux Executive Chef Sara Woods prepares multi-course dinner featuring pairings by Freeland Spirits to benefit Rose Haven Shelter
PORTLAND, Ore. (November 19, 2019) – Vaux, the Pearl’s newest restaurant located at the Canopy Portland, to host intimate, gratitude-inspired holiday dinner featuring pairings by Freeland Spirits. Vaux Executive Chef Sara Woods will prepare a menu highlighting the best autumnal ingredients Oregon has to offer. Each dish of the multi-course menu will feature a hand-selected pairing from Freeland Spirits of bourbon, gin, and geneva. Freeland Spirits is Portland’s new woman-owned craft distillery. From growing the grain, to running the still, the distillery creates superior spirits that celebrate all the Northwest has to offer. A portion of each ticket will also be donated to Rose Haven, a Portland day shelter and community center benefitting women, children, and gender non-conforming folks experiencing trauma, poverty, and physical and mental health challenges.
