Upcoming Events: La Fete du Macaron and Holiday Tea

October 14, 2019

Holiday Tea

December 14th – January 1st

Join your friends, relatives and Pix for a formal (but fun!) holiday tea. From December 14th through the New Year we are offering daily tea services at 2PM and 3:30PM. The menu includes a pot of tea from Townshend’s Tea House and a selection of 14 sweet and savory bite-sized treats…think French macarons, mini éclairs, quail eggs in prosciutto, salmon sandwiches, and thick, indulgent chocolat chaud. $38 per service. A vegetarian menu is available.

Reservations are required and must be made 48 hours in advance. Call 971-271-7166.

No reservations for December 24th and 25th.

La Fête du Macaron

Saturday, November 30, 2019

2PM – Midnight

Pix Pâtisserie celebrates the French Macaron once again at its annual La Fête du Macaron. Thirty colorful flavors will fill the pastry case while tantalizing the eyes and the taste buds. Go one step further and get a Macaronut, a deep fried macaron.

Have a winning flavor idea? Enter the flavor contest for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate. Try your hand (or foot!) at the cupcake stomp. Stomp on a cupcake for a free macaron. It’s messy but fun.

All macarons are $2.85 each. Like what you taste? Get the recipe for Lemon Poppy Seed Macarons in Pix owner Cheryl Wakerhauser’s book, Modern French Pastry: Innovative Techniques, Tools and Design.
