Anna Russell and Shannon Nolan have always wanted to start a restaurant where they could recreate the casual, fun atmosphere of brunches they held for friends. At Turning Tables Bistro, the company and the music enhance Anna and Shannon’s fresh, elegant dishes. May’s menu features buttermilk biscuits with Sicilian-inspired mushroom gravy, spring salad greens with potato latkes and poached eggs, and a polenta and semolina lemon cake.
“We started our pop-up brunch experiment based on our love of cooking and dancing together in the kitchen. We want to take the fun we have in our home to make new friends and meet fellow foodies in Portland.” – Anna Russell
