Trick or Treat? Only Treats at the Beaverton Farmers Market!

October 30, 2021

To Our Market Community,

It’s a welcome sight when it’s been raining for two weeks and the forecast for Halloween weekend is expected to be dry. While we know how desperately we need a wet fall and winter, it’s such a nice surprise at the market for a dry day so we can see all your lovely faces (masked — of course!) enjoying the crisp fall weather and market festivities.

Speaking of festivities, our market staff has been busy preparing some Halloween fun for the whole family! Similar, to last year we will have a Halloween booth setup next to our Information Booth where families can stop by to pick up some fun Halloween crafts to take home, as well as candy treats.

Don’t forget to have your kids dress up! We will have special prizes for little ghouls and goblins in costume!

 Warm Regards,

The Beaverton Farmers Market

We will see you this Saturday at the Market from 9:00AM-1:30PM.

Beaverton High School Adopt-a-Family

An impactful initiative Beaverton High School takes every year is to run their Adopt-a-Family program. For Adopt-a-Family, “Adopters” sign up to the event by November 7th, and Student Leadership sends Adopters a family’s profile and wishlist in mid-November. Adopters then purchase these gifts for the family, wrap them, and return them to BHS. While still in the height of a pandemic, there is a need now more than ever to serve our community and aid our BHS families. If you, or your company, sports team, family, club, organization, or local business, are interested in adopting a family this year, we would love for you to participate. To sign up to adopt one or more families, please visit Bit.ly/BHSAdopter. We encourage you to share this opportunity with local businesses, families, and friends! Only together can we continue to serve our community and help those in need. For more information and access to a downloadable flyer, please visit Beavertonhighleadership.org. Feel free to email Kyle Hanson at 415710@bsd48.org with any questions, they will be at the market this, and next Saturday!
