ABOUT ATTICUS WINES

Atticus Wine is a family-owned micro-boutique producer of beautiful and distinctive Pinot Noir in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of the Willamette Valley. Founded in 2005, this by appointment only winery offers an exclusive experience and connection with nature. Atticus Wine is the ongoing journey of love and dedication of Ximena Orrego and her husband Guy Insley. Once home to a clover field, they built the vineyard from scratch in 2005, planting Dijon and Pommard Pinot Noir grapes. Ximena and Guy have put down deep roots in wine country. They built their family home among the vines, creating a place where they can watch their children grow, be connected with the vineyard and coexist with nature. After many vintages learning, first as harvest intern and then actively working in the cellar, Ximena is now the winemaker for their wines. Orrego hosts private tastings from her own kitchen table and patio overlooking the vineyard for a truly one-of a-kind tasting experience alongside the winemaker. In addition to her vineyard and winery, Ximena Orrego is also the founder of Celebrating Hispanic Roots. Private tastings include a tasting of vertical or library wines, and a walk through the vineyard. The Atticus Parliament club offers exclusive access to library wines, large format bottles, early releases, and their XO label and private tasting events.
