The sun’s out (at last!) and we can’t wait to be outside around the fire, doing what we do best: cooking up seasonal feasts for you over the flames.
We’re putting our PNW spin on the Argentine tradition of the asado and it’s going to be a visual and gustatory feast for the senses! You’ll be treated to local wines from Alexana and their Argentine sister winery, Corazon del Sol, along with copious amounts of fire snacks, meats, seafood and vegetables, all drenched in buckets of chimichurri and sunshine.
Join us for an epic day around the fire!
Farm Dinner at Hama Hama Oysters
June 29, 2022
Join us at one of our most cherished places on earth—Hama Hama Oyster Co. on the shores of the Hood Canal—for an open fire seafood feast paired with biodynamic wines from Cooper Mountain Winery. It will be a true celebration of place, highlighting as many gifts from the region as possible, including Hood Canal spot prawns, Hama Hama oysters (so many oysters!) and clams, wild salmon, and other locally farmed and foraged goodies.
TOURNANT x CHEF’S ROLL x YETI
We filmed this video with Chef’s Roll and Yeti overlooking the Columbia Gorge on one of those wild spring days we’ve been having here in the PNW, where the weather went from sun to rain, then hail and snow—all in the course of a few hours! We grilled oysters with stinging nettle butter, sautéed up some locally foraged morels to spoon over grilled toast and slowly roasted a whole salmon over the flames (until the snow came and we had to improvise!)
We hope you enjoy watching this glimpse into a Day in the Life of Tournant! #neverboring
