This week’s wine tasting: Produttori del Barbaresco

May 2, 2019

PRODUTTORI DEL BARBARESCO Tasting with Aldo Vacca

Friday, May 3rd, 5:00–7:00p
at Providore Fine Foods

To our tastes, Produttori del Barbaresco is the benchmark to which all other Barbaresco wines are measured. Their straight “Normale” bottling is an exceptional value in any vintage, showcasing the character of that year’s production. But in truly exceptional years, the cooperative of winemakers will choose to make a series of single cru wines reflective of the diverse terroir in the region. We have just received our shipment of these cru Barbarescos in time for a special visit from Aldo Vacca, Managing Director of Produttori del Barbaresco. Join us to meet this legend of Piedmont and taste through a few vintages and crus of our favorite Barbaresco.

Listen to Aldo Vacca on the history and future of Produttori del Barbaresco, in conversation with Levi Dalton on the I’ll Drink to That Podcast.
