How’s it going? How’s quarantine? Are you accomplishing a massive to-do list, or staring at the walls? No judgment here – we’re all doing our best during this time to stay safe and sane. Hopefully, we can help!
Reservations for this week’s fried chicken pickups are LIVE on resy! Make sure your party size is set to one if you’re having a hard time seeing our options, and please note your side preferences in your reservation notes!
We’re offering a whole fried chicken (ten pieces) with our signature dusted seasoning, four fluffy angel biscuits with sorghum butter, and your choice of two 16oz shareable sides, all for $50! You can add on a bottle of bubbles for an additional $23 if you’re feeling fancy, frisky, and/or fizzy.
Sides for this week are:
bacon-braised collard greens
zesty pimento cheese macaroni salad
country ham stewed lima beans with buttered heirloom rice
creamy deviled egg potato salad
Pickups are available this Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 8pm at Yonder – we changed up timing to make dinner easier for you all! We request that guests use good pandemic manners and wear masks/protective gear for pickup while maintaining good social distance from each other. We will have a table set up at the door where we will hand off your dinner!
We are also offering some lovey add-on goodies through our online shop – pints of pimento cheese and zucchini pickles, fresh-baked sourdough pecan chocolate chunk cookies – and starting this week, a special Mae-at-home Market Tote for Saturday pickup, loaded with all the gorgeous things we wish we could be cooking for you in that beautiful little room PLUS our notes and recommendations on how to create a beautiful springtime meal!
This tote will change every week with market availability and you can see the full list of goods in the online shop, but think fresh-baked bread made with heirloom southern grains, housemade buttermilk cheese, fresh vegetables and strawberries from Gathering Together farms, and perfect pantry staples that combine to become something very Mae and very lovely.
Feel free to email us with any questions you may have. We’re here.
We can’t wait to see your (masked) faces this week – take care, be kind to yourselves, and EAT FRIED CHICKEN!
