The Story:

Melt is the new project from Tommy Schopp, founder of Burmasphere, and is located in the same space at the Piedmont Station food cart pod. Comfort food is what’s needed as we head into the rainy season, and nothing is more comforting than a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwiches have been fancied up a bit (though a basic old school grilled cheese is available as well), and the soup is vegan tomato bisque. A line of cane sugar retro sodas in glass bottles rounds out the menu. Our Pacific Northwest partners include Choi’s Kimchi Co, Tim’s Cascade Snacks, Little Northern Bakehouse, Portland French Bakery, Pacific Foods, Orca Beverage Co, and Field Roast. We’re looking forward to serving you up some grilled cheese!

The Deets:

Melt’s grand opening will be on Friday, Nov. 8th, beginning at 11:00 am. We are currently in soft opening mode, open Mo/We/Th 11-7, Fr 11-8, and Sa/Su 12-8.
