The Celery Launches at North Williams!

February 11, 2022

The Celery, a 100% organic grain bowl and juice bar company, launched its flagship store on January 3rd, 2022 in the heart of the North Williams district. Matt Trenkle, former co-founder of Greenleaf Juicing Company, and Steve Fogarty, former adidas and Twitter executive, started this new venture in the rapidly growing fast-casual, healthy food space with a focus on bringing healthy food to a broader set of consumers. the Celery was created on the idea that incredible food can be healthy, feel light and energizing, and be easy to get. The menu was intentionally designed using nutrition science to create food and drinks that boosts energy and promotes healthy eating.

With the commitment to using only 100% organic ingredients on their menu, the Celery serves fresh pressed juices, smoothies, grain bowls, salads, oatmeals, nut milks, açaí bowls and more. The entire menu is customizable to accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions and preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free. Currently, all grain bowls include three protein options of organic free-range chicken, wild caught Pacific salmon, and organic marinated tempeh, with additional options in store down the road. Highlights from the menu include the Up River Grain Bowl made with salmon, farro, roasted yams, steamed greens, watermelon radish, frizzled onion and basil herb sauce, and the signature Keep It Green Juice made with spinach, kale, apple, lemon, celery, cucumber and ginger.

Designed with clean and minimalistic principles in mind, the Celery’s flagship Williams location gives customers expansive space to dine-in with a full view into their operations, including daily hydraulic cold-pressed juicing and bottling. The stunning exterior floor-to-ceiling windows attract ample natural light, with hand drawn vegetable designs by local designer Sarah Zupnik that mirror the interior concrete wall mural. Customers can enjoy free and fast Wi-Fi in store.

With their mission to make healthy eating easy and accessible, the Celery is open for dine-in, take-out, online ordering or delivery.

the Celery is located at 4008 N Williams Avenue on the northeast corner of N Williams Ave and N Shaver St. Hours of operation are 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-6pm on weekends. Visit the Celery online at www.thecelery.com or find them on Instagram @thecelery.
