In response to Portland’s legendary reputation of being a food lover’s paradise, The Benson Hotel is excited to announce that the Palm Court recently launched four new menus, which each feature an array of seasonally-inspired, savory dishes made from scratch with locally-grown ingredients, prepared by Executive Chef OJ Robinson.
The new menu launches are part of The Benson Hotel’s two-year, $14 million renovation to give a refreshed feel to the property, while still upholding its historic roots. The property’s renovations also include updates to its guestrooms, suites and corridors.
The Palm Court is located in The Benson Hotel’s opulent lobby and features chic furnishings, including a multi-story crystal chandelier, red-and-gold leopard-spotted banquettes and glazed bevel windows. Its ambiance is second to none for comfort and atmosphere, offering a warm and cozy environment for drinks, food, and conversation with some of the friendliest and most experienced servers in Portland. Guests can also enjoy live jazz entertainment by local musicians every Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8:30-11:30 p.m., while dining at the Palm Court.

- Chicken Al Matone served with asparagus, lemon and rosemary
- Braised Short Rib Hash served with two eggs and sweet chili aioli
- Line Caught Albacore served with avocado, cucumber and jalapeño
