The Allison Inn & Spa Announces Return of Wine Indulgence Weekend

May 19, 2022

Exclusive and Immersive Showcase of the Willamette Valleys’ Celebrated Wines.

Oregon’s iconic luxury resort will draw vintners, guests and insiders for this second annual weekend in August.

Willamette Valley, Oregon – May 19, 2022 – The award-winning Allison Inn & Spa is delighted to host the second annual Wine Indulgence Weekend August 25 through 28th —an exclusive, behind-the-scenes celebration of the Willamette Valley’s great wines and culinary offerings, with Master of Ceremonies and lauded wine expert, Karen MacNeil.

Following a successful debut in 2019, The Allison and acclaimed author of The Wine Bible, Karen MacNeil, are thrilled to announce the luxurious weekend’s return this summer. “Wine Indulgence provides an incredible opportunity to taste the very top Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that make the Willamette Valley so renowned,” said Karen MacNeil. “Our guests will interact personally with more than 20 of the valley’s top winemakers and vintners and learn about the creativity and soulful heart that is channeled in this talented wine region.” In addition to a Master Class featuring the region’s greatest Pinot Noirs, Karen MacNeil will once again conduct the signature tasting and interview called “Pinot on the Couch.”

The three-night weekend will not only showcase extraordinary wines, but also sensational dishes from the Allison’s beautiful gardens, all prepared by the Allison’s Executive Chef Chris Smith, and luxurious treatments at the award-winning Allison Spa. A special, exclusive, wine dinner at Domaine Drouhin Oregon is also included. Package price for two people, based on double occupancy, is $5,000 and includes all dinners, tastings and activities. Single occupancy is $3,850. For more information, visit here.

Newly appointed General Manager, Percy Brandon, comments on the event, “From the soil of our gardens, we’re committed to providing the best Oregon wine country experience for guests and local community, and Wine Indulgence captures that in a one-of-a-kind weekend. It will be a delight to have us together to celebrate with local vintners.”

The signature restaurant, JORY, features Oregon Wine Country Cuisine coupled with an extensive 500-label wine list. JORY maintains its Forbes Travel Guide Four Star ranking with the locavore menu, which reflects The Allison’s creative garden-to-table philosophy, accentuating native flavors of the Willamette Valley and its bountiful local agriculture.
