The 2022 Newport Seafood & Wine Festival, presented by Chinook Winds Casino Resort

November 1, 2021

This event will take place February 24-27 at the South Beach Marina in Newport, Oregon.

Each year as part of the festival, an Amateur Wine Competition is held for wine enthusiasts around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. One month prior to the festival, a panel of local judges will gather for a blind tasting of up to seventy wines. Entries with the highest marks will be awarded gold, silver or bronze ribbons and one winner will be named Best of Show. The winning wines will be displayed at the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival in February.

Entries for the 2022 competition are due by January 30 to the following drop off locations: F.H. Steinbart in Portland, Davison Winery Supplies in McMinnville, Salem Brew Supply, Corvallis Brewing Supply, Home Fermenter Center in Eugene, or the Newport Chamber of Commerce. Entry forms must accompany each wine entered.

More information on the 2022 Newport Seafood and Wine Festival Amateur Wine Competition, as well as entry forms, can be found at any of the drop off locations, online at www.seafoodandwine.com, or by calling 541-265-8801.
