Make Your Way to the Clinton Theater for ‘Agave, Spirit of a Nation’ April 2nd at 6pm

Join us for Portland’s only screening of this feature length deep dive documentary into the world of Tequila and Mezcal, today’s fastest growing spirit.

From the red highlands of Jalisco to the mountains of Oaxaca, the film follows three Mezcal producers into the most biodiverse environment for agave in the world.

Narrated by Damián Alcazar (Narcos) and filmed by Ernesto Pardo, it is an intimate glimpse into the lives of those who dedicate their days not just to Mezcal or tequila, but to agave and all that comes with it.

A ticket buys you entry to the film, a question and answer session with the director, and a Mezcal tasting following the film, hosted at Xico. You’ll even be able to taste some of the Mezcal featured in the movie!
