Dinner for the Valentine’s Day haters and the caviar lovers.
Proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.
Restaurant partners Doug Adams and Jennifer Quist believe that everyone (single, taken or confused) deserves an over the top Valentine’s Day dinner this year. So, on February 14th, they’ve decided to throw a Valentine’s Day event that not only hits the five major food groups—caviar, black truffles, foie gras, lobster and champagne—but also brings the fun to the table while supporting Planned Parenthood.
Taking place at the Elk Space, a raw event space at 614 SW 11th Ave in downtown Portland, the team behind Portland’s upcoming Bullard are keeping it low-fuss…red carnations on the communal tables and a mix of 80s/90s love (and break up) classics on the sound system…while Adams serves up his decadent menu from a pop up kitchen right in the space.
Kick off the night with a pre-dinner cocktail at neighboring bar, Jackknife, (included in ticket price), before heading to dinner at 7PM where Adams has put together a 5-course menu of dishes like fried chicken skins and caviar and butter poached lobster with Meyer lemon and truffle. Will Oben of Park Avenue Fine Wines will also be onsite offering sparkling wines and champagnes at a variety of price points.
Tickets for the 7PM seating are very limited and reservations should be made online at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
Tickets are $80 and include food and one drink ticket for a pre-dinner cocktail at Jackknife, located just next door from the Elk Space.
*PROCEEDS FROM THIS DINNER WILL GO TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD.
