Earlier this fall, Alto Bajo launched their “Taco Fight” series, in which two culinary counterparts, including Alto Bajo’s Executive Chef, Chip Barnes, battle it out to become a taco champion! The first battle, which saw Barnes vs. Chef Ricky Bella of Bit House Saloon, resulted in a win from Alto Bajo’s own Chip Barnes!
The next Taco Fight returns on November 28th and will feature a battle between Chef Chip Barnes vs. Thomas Dunklin and Kyle Rourke, Chefs/Owners of The Waiting Room.
For $12, guests will receive two tacos (one from each restaurant) and a margarita. The throw down will begin at 11am and will continue until the tacos are sold out. After eating, guests will be able to vote for their favorite taco and the winner of the fight will take home honors and a very fancy “El Luchador” inspired belt.
Other local chefs (soon to be announced) will partake in this monthly series.
