Sweeten Your Weekend at Ripe Cooperative

January 14, 2022

This week we’re launching two freshly churned seasonal pints to transport you to sunnier – and warmer – times.

Try Pomegranate Dreamcicle Frozen Custard with swirls of pomegranate sorbet mixed into a vanilla bean base, reminiscent of childhood favorite Orange Dreamcicles with a rich but refreshing twist.

And,  we’re putting THE LIME IN THE COCONUT with a brand new dairy-free Coconut Lime Sorbet. Bringing tropical vibes to our non-dairy and dairy-loving friends alike.

WHILE YOU’RE HERE…

After you’ve ordered your pints for pick up, make plans to stay awhile. Our café menu is now available indoors and on our cozy heated patio.

This week’s highlights include a Winter Niçoise Salad with poached albacore, purple potatoes, giant white beans, cabbage, sesami-dashi vinaigrette, and smoked hazeulnuts, and Duck Bolognese with Grana Padano and fried rosemary.

Pair the salad with a 2019 Arterberry Maresh Chardonnay from Dundee Hills, Oregon, a
Chablis-style Chardonnay with honeyed fruits and juicy freshness on the palate, finishing with extended minerality.

Pair the duck with a 2020 Companon Arrieta ‘Herrigoia’ Rioja Alavesa, Spain.  It’s a lighter, fresh style of Rioja made with Tempranillo using semi-carbonic maceration. You’ll find violets and blue fruit on the palate with light tannic structure.

Other new additions include a Cherrywood-smoked Halibut Tartine with black pepper cream cheese, and fennel + radish salad with walnut vinaigrette on molasses rye and Gioia Cheese Co. Burrata (flown in the day after it’s made!) with quince vanilla jam, toasted rosemary focaccia and Occhipinti olive oil.

We’re serving daily from 12pm-8pm!
