Hitch a ride on the Pasta Wagon!
Wednesday, July 11th @ 6:30pm.
This year we’re doing summer right, teaming up with our neighbors at Artigiano for a delicious, multi-course, al fresco (!!!) dinner featuring our wines alongside the beautiful farm-to-table dishes of chef Rachael. We may use French words on our wine labels, but we LOVE Italian fare as much as the next sane human, and could not be more fired up for this wonderful evening of food and wine. We hope to see you! Please rsvp on Artigiano’s events page, or call 503.860.3419. $85/person.
The 2018 growing season is off and running!
After a late start of the season due to our very wet early spring, it was like someone just turned off the water and ordered blue dry skies for all of May and early June (actually a bit too dry)! That said, the temps and just bit of rain have mostly been pretty seasonal and perfect for us in Oregon and our young grapes are off and running to a nice start of 2018! We hope the trend continues and will keep you posted as we start to see the first harvest dates on the horizon, but until then, keep an eye on our Instagram account @divisionwineco for the latest activities from the vines!
One of the many joys of creating elixir from grapes is tasting said elixir with the perfect amount of bottle age. This July, we’re celebrating two of our very best single-vineyard Pinot Noirs — drinking fabulously NOW — with a Summer Pinot Noir 3-Pack!
2015 Pinot Noir “Trois” & 2015 Pinot Noir “Cinq” are in the zone. Time in bottle has done wonders for these babies, deepening their gorgeous aromas, bringing out their savory character, and integrating the flavors to perfection.
Pinot Noir “Trois” hails from the famed Temperance Hill vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. Planted on what is believed to have once been an active volcano, this site sits at 660-860 feet, a celestial elevation that gives the wines from Temperance legendary acidity alongside full phenolic ripeness. The wine shows rare breed and complexity with aromas of black cherry, spice, and freshly dried tobacco leaf, giving way to a dense, meaty, and minerally palate.
Pinot Noir “Cinq” hails from the Armstrong vineyard in Ribbon Ridge. Situated next to several of Oregon’s most coveted sites, the relatively young Armstrong vineyard shows amazing promise. 2015 is our second vintage making a single-terroir wine from Armstrong, and we know we’re on to something incredibly special. Brooding cherry and kirsch on the nose are followed by modest yet firm tannins in this crushable bottle.
Our Pinot Noir 3-Pack comprises 2 bottles of Pinot Trois and 1 bottle of Pinot Cinq at 15% off regular retail (greater discounts apply for DIVISION WINE CLUB MEMBERS) for $131.75 — a net savings of $23.25 from ordering à la carte!!!
* Note: if you are a DWC wine club member, please REPLY TO THIS EMAIL rather than ordering online so that we can ensure you receive the maximum discount on your purchase.*
Even we need a breather every now and then..
The winery will be closed from July 3rd to July 9th for our annual break.
