New spring menu for Streetcar Taproom is beer and whisky forward to provide the consummate upscale bar food experience, showcasing more small plates and tastefully prepared bar cuisine all compliments of our new General Manager, Scott Snowden and new Executive Chef, Scott Spaulding.
Like many other great restaurants in the Pearl, Streetcar Taproom is launching a new menu for spring. What sets this apart from the normal menu cycle is we’re adding more small plates of items that are smack dab in the middle of the craft beer and whisky connoisseur palate.
Scott Snowden, General Manager
Spearheading this change is our new General Manager, Scott Snowden, who joins the team after 9 years in Las Vegas. Scott has worked for top world chefs including Wolfgang Puck, David Burke and Tom Maloney. Upon arriving in Portland, he became GM of the Pearl’s own Bluehour, and then opened up Swank & Swine.

Working with GM Scott is Chef Scott, who comes to us from the very successful ABV Public House in Hillsboro. As Executive Chef there, he helped create an amazing menu of snacks, small plates, pizza’s, salad’s, burgers and sandwiches. These were not your ordinary examples either … very creative and unique. Scott grew up in San Juan Island, WA, hunting, fishing, and gathering, and of course, cooking, as a young man. He came to Portland for his formal training at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and has been here ever since.

We’ll still have some of our old favorites remaining as well, like the Bacon Wrapped Dates, Steamed Mussels and Pearl BLT Sandwich.
Additionally, we’ve added an entire Box Lunch menu that will be available for pick up, and if within a certain distance of the restaurant, delivery as well. We’re confident you’ll find these changes bring Streetcar to a new level of culinary excellence without the price tag that typically accompanies them.
