Stevens Italiano 2.0 launches Saturday, July 3rd at Dig A Pony!!!
Things are a little different this time around. When the pandemic hit we tried to make meals you would be able to eat for days on end at home. Now that it’s finally time to come back together, we’ve dreamt up the best sandwiches and snacks to enjoy while you belly up to the bar.
We have some massive chicken parm and eggplant parm heroes (AKA subs or hoagies), fried calamari with pepperoncini, ricotta gnocchi with vodka sauce and of course your old friend the tiramisu.
Since we know a thing or two about burgers… we’ve gussied up our version of a bar burger: a 6 oz patty made of house-ground St. Helens brisket, American cheese, marinated onions and pickles on a Dos Hermanos sesame seed bun with a brand new secret sauce.
Plus! Get ready for this one: The Italian Sausage Smash. This is the marriage of Burger Stevens and Uncles’ (Ernie & Sammy Capone) Italian sausage recipe. The sausage is smashed on the griddle, smothered with peppers and onions, topped with fresh mozzarella and ma’s red sauce.
