Strawberry margs on Cinco de Mayo, and open at 4pm on Mother’s Day! Join us this week at Xico!
The first of the Oregon strawberries have arrived! We love it when we get them in time for Cinco de Mayo. If we score enough at farmers markets we’ll have strawberry margaritas on Mother’s Day too!
On Mother’s Day we’ll also feature Enchiladas made with fragrant mole of three red chiles, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, roast chicken, and Queseria Ochoa panela, as well as Alaskan Halibut Tostadas with roasted garlic guacamole and green olive mojo de ajo.
Open at 4pm Sunday, May 8th. Hope you’ll join us!

Xico will host an exciting dinner in June, with guest chef Abel Hernandez of Tamale Boy, and wines from Baja. We’re so very happy to finally have a selection of bottles from the Valle de Guadalupe here in Portland. Its terroir is most unique, and production so limited that the wines rarely make it out of Mexico before they’re gone. More details to come for this special multi-course dinner paired with Baja wines! Stay tuned, but in the meantime check out Casa de Piedra and Vinos Pijoan for a glimpse of what’s in store.
The Oregonian’s top 25 Mexican Restaurants in Portland. We’re happy to be included.
