This weeks wine takes us to Spain. This bottle of Casa Castillo Jumilla Monastrell is heady with ripe notes of raspberry and black currant. The mild tang of licorice and herbs float behind on a hint of smoke.
Freshly added to the menu is a Snap Pea Salad. Crunchy Radish, lemon, mint, snap peas and robust goat cheese make up the salad, while the green garlic bagna cauda dressing completes this unique dish.
We are deep in strawberry season; to show our appreciation for this delicious fruit, we’ve added a strawberry budino to the menu. Rich and creamy, this custard is infused with strawberries and topped with brownie crumbs.
