MONDAY FAMILY SUPPERS
Thank you to all who joined us for our first Family Supper last month. What a great crowd!! Supper will now be the 3rd Monday of every month, mark your calendars and we’ll let you know in advance which Chef is cooking up what. Since this month happens to fall on 4.20, it seemed only right to serve either Jamaican or Denver inspired cuisine. There’s not much to do with the Denver omelette, so Jamaica it is!! Dinner will always be $35 per person not including gratuity or beverages and start at 6:00pm. Chef David has Jerk Chicken, Beef Patties and Red Stripes all around in the works. This is quite a feast with many surprises as well. We are really excited about these dinners. Give us a call or drop us an email for reservations.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR!
Though we love roots, it sure is lovely to see green coming at us these days. Rapini, check! Some of the loveliest spinach we’ve ever seen due to a warm late winter came to us from Sheldon at Your Kitchen’s Garden this week. Also joining the menu is the first of spring Chinook Salmon. We are serving it with fennel salad, fried potatoes, and an olive buerre blanc. Strawberries are just around the corner….
Brandon has been hard at work developing the spring cocktail list. He has created an incredibly refreshing pilsner cocktail called the Daily Routine with rhubarb and gin that is a guzzler!! Certainly the Craft Brewer’s Conference this month was inspirational. He has also revived the Salt and Pepper from the days of Kevin Ludwig. It’s been a favorite here for almost 10 years!!
