Spring! + BYOB: This week @ Baker&Spice

April 23, 2020

Hello Friends,

Spring has sprung: farms and gardens are bursting with rhubarb, asparagus and greens. We are grateful to West Union Gardens, Blue Truck Produce and Gathering Together Farms for bringing all of those things our way.

Here are a few special things we’re making this week:
  • Vol au vent: airy puffed pastry filled with ricotta and asparagus
  • Cream cheese danish:  tart, creamy, dreamy! with rhubarb
  • Cheddar Grab-n-Go: sharp cheddar, pickled onions, fresh greens and mustard tucked into our currant harvest loaf
Also, in the spirit of Earth Day being something to celebrate everyday, we’d like to encourage everyone to BYOB – bring your own bags – for pickup.  In addition to being more sustainable, sourcing to-go packaging has been a challenge for us.

Thanks for helping all of us this way.

Friendly reminders:

  1. We’re open Thursday-Sunday, 8AM-3PM, online orders and pick up ONLY.
  2. Ordering goes live @ 4PM every day for the next day.
  3. Keep an eye on our instagram @bakerandspicepdx for daily news and updates.

Stay healthy & eat a pastry!

With gratitude,

Julie & Matt and the B&S team
