Spice of the Month 10% Off | Chai and Coffee | Great Curry, not Steph

October 3, 2019

Hi Friend,

As the weather starts to turn chilly, I start to look for my favorite pair of sippers. (No, I’m not talking about the fuzzy kind you put on your feet.) I’m talking about our authentic Masala Chai and Indian Coffee.

I like to think of our Bollywood Theater Masala Chai like a Reluctant Trading greatest hits record. It brings together so many of the fresh, fragrant spices that my partner Mr. Divakar sources for us.

It’s an authentic, full-bodied, warming, loose-leaf blend of Assam black tea, fresh cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, bay leaves, fennel seed and our signature pepper.

The man behind the chai recipe is Chef Troy MacLarty of the Bollywood Theater restaurants in Portland, OR.

Chef Troy MacLarty, the man behind our best-selling Bollywood Masala Chai.

Bollywood Theater sells so much chai in their restaurants, we fly in hundreds of pounds of it direct from India to their door several times a year.

In fact, our Bollywood Theater Masala Chai is as close as you can get to the one you’d get from a chai wallah on the streets of Delhi. But don’t just trust me. Read the reviews our customers have written about it.

Here are a few excerpts from the 5-star reviews we’ve received:

★ “I’ve been drinking chai for a long time, without doubt, this is the best I have had.”
★ “It is true, I have found the holy grail.”
★ “If you really love chai, then this blend is for you.”
★ “It is everything one could hope for in a chai, far more than head and shoulders above the competition.”

Bon Appétit even named our Bollywood Masala Chai one of the best in the country.

Our Indian coffee is grown in the shade. Fed by the Monsoon. And blessed by the light of the moon.

My partner, Mr. Divakar, discovered our delicious, chocolatey, well-balanced coffee beans growing high in the hills of Coorg, India. He selects only the cream of the crop Peaberry beans.

We work with a skilled local roaster in Crown Point, Indiana to fresh roast them. (Grown in India, roasted in Indiana!) We replenish our inventory often to make sure each bag is super fresh.

Alex recently dropped off a fresh lot, so you might want to jump at some Monsoon Moon Indian Coffee while it’s still in stock. Smooth and easy-drinking. A perfect morning brew.

Spice of the Month for October 2019. Curry up and get 10% off with the promo code.

This is an amazing Curry. And we’re not even talking about Steph.

Our Spice of the Month for October is our Bollywood Theater Curry Powder. And it’s as beautiful as a half-court three at the buzzer.

It was formulated by Chef Troy MacLarty exclusively for his Portland, Oregon restaurants and for us at Reluctant Trading. It’s a beautiful and well-balanced blend of our fresh cumin, coriander, black pepper, turmeric, and cayenne.

Try it with chicken, meats, veggies, soups. Sprinkle it on french fries. And use it in anything that calls for curry powder. (Duh, right?)

Through the end of October 2019, you’ll get 10% off when you buy our Bollywood Theater Curry Powder. Just click this link to have the discount automatically applied in your shopping cart. Or enter the code SPICEASNICE10 at checkout.

Enjoy!

Scott
