Southpark Seafood Launches New Brand Advertising Campaign: “Golden Oyster”
Portland, OR, February 12, 2018 – Today Southpark Seafood launched a new brand advertising campaign titled “Golden Oyster.” The campaign highlights the restaurant’s oyster program and offerings. Using only social media, the campaign will rely on capturing user engagement to spread the word.
“We love engaging customers with our brand across platforms for a richer experience; our last major campaign used virtual technology to highlight our farm to table philosophy. This year’s campaign, “Golden Oyster,” will focus on our oyster selection, a major element to our business. This campaign involves the entire city by encouraging people to find hundreds of Golden Oyster shells we hid around the city.”
The campaign includes hundreds of oyster shells, spray painted a rich gold and meticulously hidden around the city of Portland. Using social media platforms, the campaign will integrate heavy image and video content to provide daily tips on where the oysters are hidden. Phase 2 of the campaign which will launch later in the year, will add a geocaching element to the adventure. Those who find a Golden Oyster can bring the shell to Southpark Seafood for a complimentary trio of oysters with any purchase.
