Smith Teamaker & Chef Karl Holl Launch Friday Lunches, Available all Summer Long

June 29, 2020

Smith Teamaker Launches Friday Lunches All Summer Long

Healthy, tea-centric meals crafted in collaboration with Chef Karl Holl now available for weekly for pick-up and in store

WHAT:

Smith Teamaker is thrilled to launch weekly meal offerings in partnership with chef Karl Holl all summer long. Celebrated for his ingredient-driven, “farm first” philosophy, Chef Holl has collaborated with Smith’s Head Teamaker Ravi Kroesen to craft healthy, tea-centric dishes that celebrate the intersection between tea and food.

Every Friday throughout the summer, Portlanders can order that week’s combination, which includes a main dish, sweet treat, and complimentary glass of iced tea of their choice from the new Smith iced tea collection—all for $15. Menu items include craveable dishes such as chilled Green Tea Noodles with shiitake mushrooms, pickled carrots, cucumber, tea-chi (tea leaf kimchi) and sesame-ginger dressing and Beet “poke” bowls with garden greens, edamame, avocado, cucumber, watermelon radish, puffed wild rice, herbs and a miso dressing.

Quantities are limited and can be purchased in advance using Smith’s pre-order site. Orders must be placed by Wednesday for Friday pick up at their SE Portland Tasting Room, which is carefully following social distancing protocol. Smith will also offer a limited number of the week’s meals for purchase at their Tasting Room Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
