Smallwares Pop-Up at Enoteca Nostrana

Tuesday, July 10
Two Seatings: 5:30pm and 8:30pm

Nostrana alum, chef Johanna Ware, is taking over the Enoteca kitchen to host two dinners in celebration of the imminent re-opening and new location of her much-loved Smallwares.Chef Ware will prepare her bold ‘inauthentic Asian’ dishes with playful wine pairings selected by Nostrana Wine Director Austin Bridges. He’ll be pulling special bottles from their two-story wine cellar and taking diners to different parts of the world.

Both seatings (5:30pm and 8:30pm) feature the same menu (see below).

Dinner is served family-style for $75 per person • Wine pairings are available for an additional $50 per person.

Menu

STARTER
Oysters with pickled strawberry and shiso

FIRST
Peruvian style ceviche with albacore tuna, bay shrimp, corn, Aji Amarillo, lychee, pink peppercorn, and herbs. Plantain and tortilla chips.

SECOND
Cherry tomatoes, sherry soy vinaigrette, white pepper, tofu ranch, prosciutto, thai basil

Padrons, tomato kasundi, garam masala ricotta, mint

Grilled zucchini, sesame chili dressing, fried quinoa, spring greens

THIRD
Cumin Sichuan Lamb shoulder ssam, celery orange salad, tahini yogurt, eggplant relish, grilled naan, lettuce, mango pickle

FOURTH
Kaffir lime panna cotta, blackberry compote, sesame brittle
