WEAR A MASK.
LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
END POLICE BRUTALITY.
BLACK LIVES MATTER
A couple of NEW things this week. We are excited to be offering weekly Veggie Box put together from the bounty and Autumn harvest happening right now. Much similar to the model of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) we hope to use a subscription model for weekly exchanges. This week will include some of the sturdy staples of the kitchen: winter squash, potatoes, carrots, parsley, little gem lettuce, padron peppers and more. We will be gathering products from farms that supply our restaurant, Simington Gardens, Blue Truck Produce, Groundworks Organics and Ayers Creek.
This week we will also offer a Fruit box: honey crisp apples from Baird Orchard. 3 varieties of grapes and Gaston melons from Ayers Creek
Pre Order Bagels for Sunday November 1st. We are planning a bagel bake on the 1st of November. Still working out all of the details. We have made bagels off and on for 15 years. We will be returning to an early version of ours which is similar to Montreal Style Bagels, they will be boiled and then baked in our wood-fired oven. We will be offering monthly subscriptions for folks to stock up. Our bagels freeze amazing, you should slice them and get them in the freezer so you can have plenty in the larder for after the election. We will have lox, cream cheese, pickles, and a few select sandwiches boxed up for your Sunday morning. Get a subscription while you can.
Also this month. We will be celebrating 5 years in Multnomah Village, and I can’t believe, the 20th year of Tastebud. I never thought that this is where we would find ourselves. We are still negotiating this bumpy ride, but we are excited to connect and support the community in new and different ways.
Thank you for all of your ongoing, past and future support!
