We have a new cheese in the case this week! Sennerkäse with Fenugreek is a German cheese made at Obere Mühle, a cooperative dairy in Allgau, Germany. This cheese is made by one of our favorite producers, Arturo Chiraboga, who also makes the decadent Chiriboga Blue. This raw cow’s milk cheese has a tacky orange rind, and creamy, straw yellow paste, speckled with Fenugreek seeds. Fenugreek is grown and commonly used throughout Allgau and Bavaria. The seed has a sweet and savory maple-syrup character. We recommend adding this melt-able cheese to your breakfast sandwich this weekend or atop a toasted waffle.

Made from 100% Gruner Veltliner from Niederostereich, Austria. This white is clean and bright with notes of pear and citrus and a delicate spice.
2017 Domaine La Crois Belle, “Carignole” Blanc, Côtes de Thongue, Languedoc, France
A blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, this affordable white wine has notes of citrus and green apple on the nose. It is crisp and refreshing with notes of tropical fruit on the palate.
2016 Pittnauer, “Pitti,” Burgenland, Austria
This light-bodied red wine is made from a blend of Zweigelt, Blaufrankish, and Merlot. This easy-drinking red tastes of bright cherries with floral notes and a delicate minerality.
2016 Maz Caz Rouge, Costieres de Nimes AOC, Rhone Valley, France
This red wine is made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvedre. Perfect for a summer barbecue, Maz Caz rouge is juicy with soft tannins and notes of red fruits.
