The first leaf buds may just be appearing on the grape vines, but McMenamins is already busy preparing for the 14th Annual Celebration of Syrah at McMenamins Edgefield Winery, taking place this April 10 and 11. The two-day revelry of wine, food and fun will bring wine lovers to the scenic vineyards of Troutdale, Oregon, to sample more than 100 wines from 35 wineries, including: Quady North, Tranche Cellars, Dominio IV, McCrea Cellars, AniChe Cellars and Alexandria Nicole Cellars.
For nearly fifteen years, the Celebration of Syrah has been the largest gathering of Syrahs in the U.S., bringing upwards of 100 bold inky-colored red wines together from Australia, France and the Pacific Northwest in one place – Edgefield. Tickets to attend the event begin at $45 for the Grand Tasting, and range up to $95 for the Rhone White Reception & Gourmet Syrah Dinner (additional details below).
