Ripe Cooperative – Let Us Do Some Cooking!

November 22, 2021

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON…..

There are only a few full eating days before Thanksgiving.

Take some time away from the pre-holiday cleaning, shopping, and prepping for a leisurely European-style dining experience in our updated (and weather-proof!) outdoor café.

This week’s menu includes Paul Bertoli’s Chicories with house pancetta, parmesan, toasted walnuts, and 30-year aged balsamic; Rigatoni in a tomato vodka sauce with habandanas and Grana Padano; our late fall BLT on housemade toasted seeded bread, topped with burrata, green tomato jam, BEAST bacon, and mizuna; fresh-out-of-the-oven Focaccia of the day, and our brand new Caviar service.

Hand-picked wines by the glass or bottle, an Afternoon Delight martini hour from 2pm-5pm daily, and some luxurious desserts make for the perfect escape from your to-do list.

While you’re here, stock up on a few options for easy week/end meals so you don’t have to fret about what to cook in the days before the big meal.

This week we have THREE lasagna options, so stock up on Lasagna Bolognese, Fall Vegetable Lasagna, or Sweet Corn, Basil, and Mushroom Lasagna to heat-and-serve any night of the week.

Speaking of Thanksgiving dinner, our turkey meal boxes are sold out, but we’ve got sides, appetizers, centerpieces, wine, and more to make holiday prep and hostess gifts easier than pie.

Try our Buttermilk Sourdough Rolls (highly recommended with wood-churned butter from the Loire Valley and Tsar Nicoulai Osetra Caviar), Shrimp Cocktail, Smoked Gruyere Pimento Cheese Dip, local, handcrafted Cheese Platter, House-Marinated Olives, and farm greens and dressings.

Wow your host or your guests with an incredible centerpiece from Colibri PDX, or a great bottle of sparkling wine. This holiday season we love Pierre Gimonnet Cuis 1er Cru Brut NV, Vouette Et Sorbée ‘Blanc D’argile’ Blanc De Blancs Brut Nature, and Moussé Fils ‘Les Vignes De Mon Village’ Blanc De Meuniers.

We also have a full selection of reds, whites, and rosés.

Looking for the perfect complement to your holiday pies? Try our Butter Pecan or Rum Raisin Frozen Custards, or NEW THIS WEEK! Frozen Hot Chocolate Custard.

Having a more intimate gathering?  Skip the turkey altogether and go for our Duck Confit for Two.

Here’s to a festive and delicious Holiday!
