Reopening update for Teardrop Lounge

June 19, 2020

Dear Friends,
I hope you’ve all been safe and healthy during this challenging time.  The whole Teardrop team has dearly missed making you cocktails!
As many of you may know, bars have been included in Multnomah County’s Phase I reopening, effective today. We wanted to let you know that, as anxious as we are to welcome you back, we’ve made the decision to sit tight a bit longer to ensure that we can reopen in a way that’s safe and sustainable for each of our guests, the staff, and the general public.

To that end, as you’d expect, things will look slightly different next time you come join us. For example, capacity will be limited and restricted to table seating to allow for adequate physical distancing, our staff will be wearing masks and respectfully asking you to do the same until you’re seated at your table, and we’ll be requiring reservations. More to come on all of that in coming weeks as we get closer to opening.

Rest assured, we will be doing our very best to continue curating the same experience you have come to expect through the years, albeit with a paradigm shift presented by circumstance. It remains our fundamental goal to celebrate an ethos of community, and we look forward to having you share in that once again.

We’re hard at work crafting a summer menu, a prolonged period of inactivity has the creative juices flowing. Your summer favorites will be in strong supply, but the staff is excited to bring some new ideas to the table for you.

We’ll be in touch with updates soon. In the meantime, stay safe and strong.
