Remembering Our Friend Cameron Addy

August 16, 2020

AUGUST NEWSLETTER

It has been a while since we have reached out, and we unfortunately have some sad news to share. We lost our dear friend Cameron Addy to sudden cardiac arrest last week. Read how to help his family below.

CAMERON ADDY

REMEMBERING A LEGEND

Cameron was a leader at Ava Gene’s since day one and helped shape Submarine in many ways.  He was the source of so many laughs and so much positivity. He was impossible to miss at a towering 6′-4″ with a huge smile. He was always singing (in a beautiful falsetto), cracking jokes, making delicious food, and most likely wearing black socks, shorts, and some crazy t-shirt with a mismatched hat. We’re all really going to miss him.
HELP SUPPORT THE ADDY FAMILY

PRETTY PENNY

To support Cameron’s family, several Portland restaurants have banded together for Pretty Penny, a fried chicken sandwich charity event with 100% of Pretty Penny Piadina sales going directly to his wife Linda Schleis Addy and their daughter Ella.

Come to Division Street Grocers, grab a fried chicken wrap, and help support some people we really care about. We’ll be raising money for the Addy family in this way until the end of September.

Thank you for your support in these difficult times.
