Readymade Meals & Takeout

March 22, 2020

Friends,
First, we want to thank you for the outpouring of support this past week. So many kind and thoughtful messages, so many gift certificates sold, so many lasagnas ordered! We feel blessed.

We hope you are all staying safe and healthy, and that the coming weeks bring more certainty. In the meantime…

We still need to eat, right?

Though our dining room is closed, Paolo’s keeping an optimistic smile on his face, the restaurant sanitized, and the kitchen humming with
  • trays of lasagna
  • trays of beef & pork meatballs in red sauce
  • fresh pasta sauces like wild boar sugo, pomarola (Tuscan-style tomato sauce), and rich beef ragù
  • a small selection of classic Burrasca menu items for takeout
Details, menu and pricing, and how to order are outlined on our website, where we will update as offerings evolve. The best way for staying updated on the day-to-day changes is to follow us on Facebook at Burrasca PDX or Instagram @burrascapdx, where we tend to break news first. We are asking for advance payment by phone to minimize contact.

And we still need to drink, too—perhaps more than ever

All our wine is now 35% off list prices (in other words, retail pricing!), so order some vino with your food in good conscience. Our website has our current bottle list, just remember to figure those listed prices will be discounted by 35%.
…………………………………

And please…

If you can, consider leaving a tip on your order for our staff, whom we’ve had to temporarily lay off, a decision reached with much anguish. We will collect and give to them to share to help them get through this difficult time. We are working hard to stay afloat so they have jobs to come back to.

Grazie! Be well – Paolo & Elizabeth
