Portland Mercury’s Highball Week Starts Monday, Rae’s Kicking It Off with a New Spring Menu.
Promising a bourbon-splashed week, Rae’s Lakeview Lounge meets the vernal equinox with an army of $5 highballs, an official location for the Portland Mercury’s 2018 Highball Week. Beginning this Monday the 19th, the thirsty public will be able to get Rae’s tall and refreshing “Make Her Presbyterian” for just five bucks a piece, open to close, for a week-long stand.
“We expect the neighborhood to be floating in Maker’s Mark by the time it’s over,” said owner/chef Todd Morey, creator of Rae’s food, drink, style and approach. “We’re proud to represent Slabtown and Nob Hill in this pre-spring-break, farewell-winter party. We expect it to be festive and maybe a little fuzzy.”
Kissing off the winter behind us also means tapping-in a new dinner menu for Rae’s springtime season, slightly expanded and bringing back a few resident favorites,

Duck Confit
Falling off the bone, crispy-skin duck confit topped with a red wine and sweet vermouth reduction. Served atop toasted Asiago polenta cakes, served with today’s house vegetable.
Pasta Riviera
House pesto of fresh basil, Parmesan, hazelnut and olive oil tossed with Rotini pasta, lemon, cream, and diced tomato. Topped with grilled Pacific shrimp and grated Asiago.
Dinnertime nightly from 6pm to 9pm, seven days a week. Full table service indoors and outdoors.
