New PDX Eater map puts Rae’s at the top. Rae’s confirms for next month’s 2018 Highball Week
Heading into the bright second half of winter, Rae’s Lakeview Lounge was just spotlighted by Eater for being one of the best day drinking spots in Portland. In their map of Best Places to Grab a Day Drink, Eater describes Rae’s as “a casual affair, something between a dive and a proper lounge, but the drinks offered are capably made with quality ingredients at extremely reasonable rates.” In the geographical list of seventeen, Rae’s grabbed the number one spot.
“For years we have strived to earn this kind of elegant reputation,” said owner/chef Todd Morey, creator of Rae’s food, drink, style and approach. “After a grueling 2017, we couldn’t be happier about landing a distinctive accolade such as this to get our New Year started. We’re all in.”
On a similarly intoxicating subject, Rae’s has just confirmed their spot in the upcoming Highball Week from Portland Mercury, the wintertime sister to their popular summertime ‘Burger Week.’ Alongside forty bars in Portland, Rae’s will be offering their unique highball cocktail every day, from Monday the 19th to Sunday the 25th of March, from open to close, for just $5. Rae’s brand new Take Out Menu is installed and beginning to see some action. Available seven days a week from 11am to 11pm, Rae’s has just engaged Postmates as a delivery service option and is also courting the delivery services of Caviar.
