Portland Farmers Market is The Place to Be on Wednesdays 🍓
June 1, 2021
Our mid-week downtown market is your chance to refresh your fridge and grab a farm-fresh lunch under a canopy of trees. Join us at Shemanski Park Farmers Market, Wednesdays, 10a.m.–2 p.m. through October + Harvest Market Nov. 24 at SW Park & Main
Hood Strawberries Are Here
It’s officially strawberry season!
The farmer’s suggestion for these seasonal gems: ANYTHING and EVERYTHING—but if you forced us to pick—a classic Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp sounds wonderful!
South Barlow Berries is a family-owned berry farm located in Canby, Oregon. You can find their delicious berries at Shemanski Park Farmers Market through September. As the season continues, keep an eye out for a variety of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, marionberries & blackberries.
Who will you find at Shemanski Park Farmers Market this season?
Support Small Business Who Support Our Region’s Farmers
Did you know our hot food vendors source at least 25% of their ingredients from local farms? It’s just one way we ensure the success of our farmers, who we depend on!
Weekly, at Shemanski Park, you’ll find:
Southwest China Rice Noodle Bowls and Sticky Rice Balls—an exellent hand-held lunch—at Money Bowl

Endless options for putting together the perfect picnic!
Get outside, grab a bite to eat and stock up on farm-direct produce, meat and artisanal baked goods every Wednesday at Shemanski Park Farmers Market.
Double Up Food Bucks
A Win for Shoppers, a Win for Farmers, a Win for Oregon’s Economy
Double Up Food Bucks provides a dollar-for-dollar match to shoppers using SNAP benefits—up to $10 per day—to bring home twice as many fruits and vegetables from Shemanski Park Farmers Market.
“Shopping the farmers market is a different experience than going to the grocery store,” says Shemanski Park Farmers Market shopper, Lori, “I know I’m eating the freshest foods and I know I’m contributing to the farmer’s livelihoods. It’s important to me that they get the majority of the money for their products. AND I’m doubling my SNAP benefits, it’s almost too good to be true.”
SNAP is accepted at all of our markets. Shemanski Park, King, Kenton and Lents International farmers markets offer Double Up Food Bucks SNAP match.
Baird Family Orchards will join us at Shemanski Park any week now—as soon as cherries are ripe! What is about to be harvested on the farm? Brooks and Black Pearl cherries, followed closely by MORE  and Robada Apricots.
