Portland Cider House reopening 6/19

June 19, 2020

Portland Cider Co. to reopen Hawthorne location Portland Cider House for sit down service starting June 19.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore. –– June 18, 2020) –– Portland Cider Co. will reopen its Portland Cider House location on SE Hawthorne in Portland, Ore. for sit down service starting Friday, June 19. The cider house will be open for business Monday through Sunday from 12pm noon to 10pm.

Located at 3638 SE Hawthorne Blvd in Portland, OR, the cider house will have limited seating available for customers to enjoy a cider pint or flight. With 30 taps of Northwest crafted ciders, including at least 10 taps of Portland Cider releases, there is a choice for everyone.

The cidery has spread out tables and implemented measures for public safety, so customers can feel comfortable enjoying a cold cider in the heart of SE Portland. These new measures include asking all guests to practice social distancing when not seated at their table and stay at least six feet apart. Groups are limited to 6 people. Servers will be wearing masks, as well as regularly cleaning surfaces to meet sanitation guidelines; this may slow service a little, so guests are asked to be patient.

The company is asking guests to wear masks when not seated at their table, but masks are not required at this time. All community games, tables and seats at the bar are currently unavailable. Last call will be 30 minutes prior to closing every night.

A limited food menu will be available, with outside food allowed. Cider is available to-go, including 19.2oz crowlers, growlers, Portland Cider cans and bottles, and a limited selection of guest cider bottles. At this time, Portland Cider has suspended online pre-orders and curbside pick-up for cider to-go at both pubs.

For more information on planning your visit to Portland Cider House, visit PortlandCider.com/PDXCiderHouse. Portland Cider’s taproom and pub in Clackamas is also open every day; more information at PortlandCider.com/pub.
