Pop-up Dessert Club Morgan St. Theater is hosting an intimate evening exploring the
tropical flavors of Hawaii with dessert, drinks and storytelling.
PORTLAND, Ore. – March 27, 2015 – Returning from a recent trip to Kona, HI, Morgan St Theater will bring tropical flavors to this month’s pop-up. Drawing inspiration from the every-other-year visits to the big island, to visit family who own and run a small, organic coffee and macadamia nut farm. From passionfruit to pineapple, coconut to coffee, desserts will span the palate and imagination as we voyeuristically travel through Hawaii via ice cream sundaes. Join us at the table for an evening of unique desserts paired with entertaining stories and cocktails.
Morgan St. Theater is a pop-up dessert club specializing in ice cream and its infinite possibilities. Monthly menus are inspired by a creative theme and seasonal flavors and served up with stories. Jared Goodman, Morgan St. Theater’s creator, is a self-taught ice cream aficionado who makes all the desserts from scratch, sourcing from local farmers whenever possible.

Luau: Kona vanilla ice cream, caramelized pineapple, crispy lardons, white miso caramel
The Banana Boys: Kona coffee ice cream, Haupia cake, banana mousse, twice-fried plantains with lime and sea salt
Jasminum Farm- Lilikoi ice cream, tangerine sabayon, coffee crumble, coconut clouds, macadamia nut praline
