Paley’s Place New additions to our menu celebrating early fall
Dear Friends,
We’re continuing with our menu celebration of early autumn with a few new items and the return of some old favorites. This week, we’re introducing a wonderful Waldorf Salad, with Weppler Farms lettuce topped with local grapes, apples, plums, celeriac, carrots and candied walnuts and drizzled with an apple cider vinegar and Duke’s mayonnaise dressing.
New additions to the menu also includeSoupe à L’ail, which is a French garlic soup with roasted garlic croûte and a roasted mushroom relish and a Poisson du JourProvençal which features a rotating daily catch with saffron poached potatoes, roasted fennel, olives, preserved lemon and a puttanesca vinaigrette. For dessert, the Huckleberry Kuchen, a German cake with whipped crème fraîche and huckleberry sauce, is making its glorious return.
Over the next four weeks, we’ll be gradually updating our menu selections to reflect the seasonal changes so please check our website for our latest inspirations, and for additions to the Paley’s at Your Place takeaway menu.
This week, the Paley’s Place Pantry boasts some ripe seedless tomatoes from Flamingo Ridge Farms, heirloom organic melons, biodynamically grown garlic from Soter Vineyards and pounds upon pounds of seasonal stone fruits. And bien sûr, butter and cream are on our menu too. Thank you, Julia, for reminding us of the important things in life.
As a reminder, for both Paleys’ at Your Place and the Paley’s Place Pantry, ordering begins at 4 pm on Tuesday and ends at 10 am on Saturday.
