Oysters, Dumplings and Friendship – this Friday at Tournant

March 4, 2020

OYSTERS, DUMPLINGS AND FRIENDSHIP

Oyster Social returns this Friday as we welcome back chef-bartender duo Connor Martin and David Sigal of Mian, whose fresh takes on regional Chinese flavors translated through a painter’s palette of PNW ingredients are local legend. This one is especially close to our hearts, as proceeds will benefit our friend Conner Slevin, who is hard at work on the road to recovery after suffering a serious spinal injury while traveling in Mexico. You can help our cause by joining us at Tournant this Friday for freshly shucked oysters, whimsical cocktails, and shareable plates that beckon with layers of flavor alongside the first whispers of spring.

UPCOMING EVENTS

OYSTER SOCIAL FT. MIAN

Friday, March 6, 2020
Tournant Dining Room, 920 NE Glisan St
5-9pm, no reservations necessary

It’s always a pleasure to welcome back our friends and colleagues Chef Connor Martin and Bartender David Sigal of Mian to the Tournant kitchen. This time, it’s especially meaningful as proceeds from this evening will benefit the Conner Slevin Recovery Fund. It’s going to be an uplifting evening of love and support, plus delicious food by Connor for Conner—think Dungeness crab dumplings with Meyer lemon kosho butter and Umi Organics noodles with radishes, sprouts and numbing nettle pesto. No reservations necessary, just drop by from 5-9pm for convivial restaurant-style seating. Hope to see you at the table, friends.
